Our Tomorrow is as Big as our Visions of Today

Tomorrow has come. Tomorrow has come probably yesterday itself. Our tomorrow depends on the visions we have today. Vision is a blue print for tomorrow.  It is on this blue print of vision that we build our life, culture, society and values. The Past enlarges this blue print with its knowledge. Past, though it is over is yet to be over. They continue to receive meaning from the present events. They receive new interpretations and new insights day after day and events after events. The present gives flesh to the blue print by way of actualizing the blue print. Though visions are formed today they are also put into operation since now. Now is the time to begin.  ‘Nowness’ offers time and space to fulfill our visions.  Yet a preoccupation with this ‘now’ without a vision is useless.
Our Present is limited in as much as our visions are influenced and limited by the visions of yesterday. Previous generations, though they may be gone forever, still influences the visionaries of today with their ideas, views and more than anything they limit us beyond our imagination with their flawed visions of yesterday. Such flaws cost us dearly. They cause energy leaks, and loss of energy in two ways: first of all, to understand them and finally, to correct them. They together cause substantial amount of energy loss to everyone, especially for someone with a vision who follows a flawed visionary. In fact that flawed visionary can be anyone. The naked fact that they challenge us with their achievements but at some point of their vision, they can let us down. Knowing that humanity is always prone to mistakes and problems and we ourselves do not know the problems we unintentionally cause to tomorrow should challenge us to draw double energy. We require to correct the flawed visions. It is equally and overwhelmingly important to avoid mistakes in the future.
The future gains substantially from our visions. Interplay of our whims and fancies combined with luck as many would express it, does not ensure us a bright future. With such views, we become twigs in the flowing water with no aims, desires, expectations and such a future may or may not be better than yesterday.  Future possibilities are big in as much as our visions are big with firm desires combined with intense action.
One who has a vision is considered as a visionary. Visionaries share peculiarities that set them apart from all others. Visionaries are unique. They do not fail, they fall. Flux of opinion should not drown them. They listen to opinions but are never swayed in the least by it while not forgetting to assimilate what is necessary and right. Narrow ways and steep hills that are ahead of them do not frighten them at anytime. This can be verified by the presence of number of the visionaries that the world has. The world never lacked visionaries so far. However, no visionary has ever achieved anything alone. They required help. Whatever they achieved they achieved with the help of others. They knew that the key is networking for the success of their vision. They are never shy to ask help when they require it. Why don’t we help them, even if we have no visions of our own?
Dedication is another key, like networking without which one achieves nothing substantial. Nothing ever is achieved without dedication, commitment and ‘foolishness’. It is impossible to fulfill the visions without seemingly becoming foolish in the eyes of the common folk. They may misunderstand; throw stones or even burn down their visions. But for visionaries if they are misunderstood they rise again with tremendous resilience, if they are stoned they make those stones their corner stones. If they are called foolish they accept it humbly, yet continue to do the ‘foolish things’.  It’s impossible to be in slumber for those who have a vision. Finally, if the world is not the best place it’s because our visionaries were not supported adequately. No one could claim all is bad. Yet we see in the world so much of goodness in people and good things it is because there were many visionaries who struggled against all odds to fulfil their dreams. There were many to help them. Are you a visionary? If not, do not worry! Help some one who is a visionary.
